THE IDEA OF GOD

Saint Augustine's arguments proving the existence of God are very known: He moves everything in the universe through their inner strength (efficient causality). God exists for the perfection of nature and the creatures that inhabit it, by the testimony of our own conscience and faith, and so on. In this regard it is important to know what Hermes Trismegistus (3500 BC) -quoted by the Greeks- wrote about God. Everything that moves is moved by someone in a stationary position endowed with great inner strength; unimaginably vast and different: incorporeal, not generable not thinkable, except in terms of energy (Corpus Hermeticum). Free of bodily imperfections, insensitive, untouchable, God is the source of everything.

A recent launched book: Decoding reality. The universe as quantum information, add science facts to the disquisition of the characteristics of God. The author, the quantum physicist Vlatko Vedral (University of Oxford and Singapore), holds that all existing particles (including those of the human genome) are information being in the center of this idea the concept of probability. With some uncertainty about what to happen, comes the information. Death would be a state of maximum information. An idea that changed our understanding of the nature of the particles providing radical ideas about space, time and reality itself. When asked where is located the source of all information, Vedral does not say so much, but he suggests it comes from God.

LA IDEA DE DIOS

Son conocidos los argumentos de San Agustín probando la existencia de Dios: El mueve todas las cosas del universo merced a su fuerza interna (causalidad eficiente), Dios existe por la perfección de la naturaleza y los seres que la habitan, por el testimonio de nuestra propia conciencia y fé, etc. Al respecto importa conocer lo que Hermes Trismegistus (3500 años a.C.), -citado por los griegos-escribió en torno a Dios. Todo lo que se mueve es movido por alguien en posición estacionaria dotado de gran fuerza interna; inmensamente vasto y de naturaleza diferente : incorpóreo, ingenerable, impensable, excepto en términos energéticos (Corpus Hermeticum). Libre de imperfecciones corporales, insensible, intocable, Dios es el origen de todo.

Un libro de reciente lanzamiento: Decoding reality. The universe as quantum information, acerca la ciencia a la disquisición de las características de Dios. El autor del libro, el fisico cuántico Vlatko Vedral (University of Oxford and Singapore), sostiene que todas las partículas existentes (incluídas las del genoma humano), son medios de información, estando en el centro de este supuesto el concepto de probabilidad. Con cierta incertidumbre con respecto a lo por suceder, viene la información. La muerte constituiría un estado de máxima información. Una idea que cambia nuestro concepto de la naturaleza de las partículas proporcionando ideas radicales en torno al espacio, tiempo y realidad misma. Al preguntarle a Vedral donde se ubica el origen de toda la información, este aunque no lo dice deja entrever que viene de Dios.
